For Coaches

Junior Coaching Director

We are delighted to have Madelyn McCracken as our Director of Coaching. Mads brings a wealth of experience coaching Miniroos and junior competition sides at both club and representative level and is a massive asset to our club. She will be available to assist with coaching, providing resources and general advice. Mads will also work with the regional Technical Directors to organise sessions to upskill you and provide more insights on targeted training sessions.

Grouped Training

It is our preference that all teams within an age group train together as one unit. We are one club, united in achieving the right outcomes for each and every player. Coaches can tailor training sessions based on skill level so no child is left behind.

All the training gear can be found and accessed in the shed.

In regards to equipment, if you believe that there are materials that will enhance training and we currently don’t have them, please contact Rob Custers so we can look at the feasibility of purchasing it.

COVID Training

We are still bound by the COVID policies and procedures that we implemented in 2020. Please ensure kids use hand sanitiser and equipment is sprayed down at the end of each session. The spray bottles are in the shed and there will be sanitiser packs available as well. We will also need to keep attendance lists. The lists and pens are also located in the shed. Before training commences, we also need to establish the spectator zone on the running track in front of the trees. Please ask parents to move away from the training areas as this is a breach of our COVID policies. They are to remain in their cars or the spectator zone.
